EMSAR Biomedical Services Executive Team

Donald Yanusko

Mr. Yanusko is co-founder of the former EMSAR Biomedical Services, Inc. now EMSAR Biomedical Services, a Clinical Engineering firm that provides facilities management and medical device services along with communications cabling to health care systems throughout the U.S. He consults regularly with executives from a variety of fields to help create synergistic solutions from medical device applications to communication infrastructure problems. Prior to his current position, he excelled in the Clinical Engineering field as an ICC Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician at regional hospitals and Independent Service Organizations by attending more than 75 manufacturer sponsored service seminars.

Raised in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Mr. Yanusko's expertise as an industrial and commercial electrician at a local hospital led to a formal education into the electronics and medical fields at Lincoln Technical Institute.

He has served as president, treasurer and secretary of Mid-Eastern Pennsylvania Clinical Instrumentation Society (MEPCIS), president of local sportsmen’s associations and his homeowner’s association.

Spending his down-time with his with his wife and son at their self-built log home in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, he enjoys all the outdoor sports afforded by the Pocono region.

 

Steven Kerns

Since 1993, Mr. Kerns has served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of EMSAR Biomedical Services, Inc. (EBS). In June of 2014 EBS was acquired by EMSAR Biomedical Services, Inc. of Wilmington, OH. During the transition period between EBS and EMSAR he acts as Management Consultant to the new management team.

Mr. Kerns attends many technical and management seminars. He is licensed by the FCC to maintain commercial radio transmitting facilities and is an ICC/USCC Certified Biomedical Technician. He has also served on the board, and is a member in good standing of The Mid-Eastern Pennsylvania Clinical Instrumentation Society (MEPCIS).

Mr. Kerns and his wife have made their home in Pennsylvania since 1986. He is active in the business community and is a member of the Berks County Chamber of Commerce and the Berks County Businessman’s Club.

 

Shawn Blickley

Shawn joined the EMSAR team in April of 2015 and leads the Operations Team at EBS which is comprised of the Biomedical, Communications, and Installation Departments at EMSAR Biomedical.

Shawn is a native of Brockton, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Tamaqua Area High School and enlisted in the Navy in 1990. He subsequently retired from Active Duty after more than 23 years of service. During his active duty, he attended Jacksonville University where he graduated with a bachelor degree in Finance and a Masters of Business Administration.

Shawn resides in Elverson with his wife and three children.

 

Jason Yenser

Mr. Yenser, Installation Manager, has been working with leading manufacturers during his service with EMSAR Biomedical. A lifelong resident of the Lehigh Valley, he attended a local Community College and attained an Associates in Biomedical Technology. Upon graduation he secured a position at a local hospital where he completed two years as a Biomedical Technician. In 1997, he made a decision to explore the Field Service Industry by accepting a position as a Field Service Technician with EMSAR Biomedical Services. He has attended numerous manufacturer schools and seminars, along with advancing his career as an ICC Certified Biomedical Technician.

Mr. Yenser enjoys many hobbies, some of which include collecting and restoring antique cars, home winemaking and gardening. He also serves on his church council and is acting Deacon. These days the majority of his time is spent with his wife and their five children.

 

Rick Charles

Mr. Charles is a lead field technician at EMSAR Biomedical Services who will see your job through from start to finish. He sets schedules and also assists in the completion of the jobs in the field. He helps manage the Communications employees in the Pennsylvania and Maryland area.

Mr. Charles grew up in the Schwenksville, Pennsylvania area and had worked in the Communications field for 12 years. Upon EBS's acquisition of Fleming Communications in July of 2006, Mr. Charles joined EBS and became a valuable employee.

Mr. Charles now resides in the Harleysville area of Pennsylvania with his wife and daughter. He is a fan of the Philadelphia sports teams and his main hobby is fishing.

 

Chad Stoever

Mr. Stoever is in charge of the Biomedical Department at EMSAR Biomedical Services, Inc.

Upon receiving an associate’s degree in Electronics Technology from Berks Technical Institute, he worked in the semi-conductor industry for over six years maintaining a variety of equipment. After meeting his wife and starting a family, he moved from Colorado, back to Pennsylvania, to raise his family. For the next five years he helped run a medium sized environmental lab and obtained managing experience.

He began his career with EBS in October 2007 as a Field Service Engineer and has worked his way up to his current position as the Clinical Engineering Service Manager.

Mr. Stoever resides in northern Berks County with his wife and two children. He coaches his children’s sports teams, helps with scouts, and is on church council. Mr. Stoever also enjoys camping with his family.
